Kathy Hall

Senior Accountant

Kathy completed her initial studies in 1975 while working with Charlwood Partners Chartered Accountants and became a registered tax agent in 1983. Kathy also worked in Coopers & Lybrand business advisory, corporate and personal taxation division for over 7 years. When Russell Clear left Coopers & Lybrand to set up Coventrees Chartered Accountants in 1993 Kathy followed and was an integral part of the practice for over 22 years. In 2015 Coventrees accounting practice was acquired by APL Financial and Kathy has been with APL every since.

Peter Koumakis

Senior Accountant | B.SC, FIPA

Peter joined APL Financial in 2005 and is a Fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA) with 25 years of experience in the Income Tax, Accounting and Audit fields. Peter also specialises in Financial Reporting and Income Tax advisory. Holding a Bachelor of Science degree which includes a Computer Science major, Peter can also assist with IT recommendations and solutions.

Mary has been with APL Financial for 6 years with over 10 years experience in book-keeping and office administration to assist with the day-to-day management of our accounts.

Kellie Martin

Client Services & Compliance Coordinator | Dip. B.A.

Kellie joined APL Financial in 2009 with over 10 years’ experience in financial administration, marketing and office management. Kellie is responsible for all Client Compliance work, the day-to-day management of our Trust account, and all marketing, website and business development.

Meaghan has over 16 years’ experience in manufacturing and services industries in management accounting and financial accounting roles. Meaghan joined APL Financial in 2011 and assists clients in all areas of business with particular emphasis on cost accounting.

Staral Wang

Accountant | B.Comm Accounting & Finance, ACCA

Staral started her accounting career in 2014 and joined APL in 2021. She has a keen eye for detail and has extensive experience in Income Tax, GST, Payroll and Financial Reporting. Since joining APL Financial, she has added financial statement projections and Self-Managed Superfund financial reporting to her repertoire.

Darren Chiam

Graduate Accountant | B.Comm Accounting & Finance

Darren joined APL Financial in 2021. He assists senior staff in preparation of tax matters, audits and financial statement as he gains accounting experience and works towards his CPA accreditation.
